Medicaid Access: Accuracy & Compliance
When DC’s Medicaid eligibility system was falling short on accuracy, Agilian stepped in to refine the technology and testing process. The result—accuracy improved from under 80% to over 99%—gave residents uninterrupted access to benefits and supported the District’s goal of ensuring every eligible person can get the care they need.
MMIS Interoperability That Works
Agilian worked closely with internal subject matter experts to design and deliver custom training on the DC’s financial management system. Our custom approach aligned with our client’s real-life workflows, leaving them with practical, relevant skills that support the agency’s mission and promises to the people District of Columbia.
Tailored Financial System Training
For DC Health Link, Agilian designed and maintained the Enterprise Service Bus that connects the ACA marketplace to federal partners, local agencies, and the MMIS network. This secure, real-time data exchange strengthened coordination across programs and helped the District keep health coverage systems running smoothly for the community.
Modernized Unemployment System
To help DC meet the moment during and after the COVID-19 crisis, Agilian stepped in as PMO for the modernization of the District’s Unemployment Insurance Benefits and Tax Systems. We clarified requirements, streamlined vendor coordination, and restructured project plans—bringing order to complexity and momentum to go-live. The result: a more stable, efficient benefits experience for claimants and employers.
